Everyone having cake.
In Denmark, they eat cake and 1 or 2 hours after dinner everyday. It's a weird, but so good tradition. I'm hoping to bring this one back to the states.
Nicolai and the boys running from the snow back to the sauna.
Ellen and I on the lift up to the top of the mountain. It was freezing that day, but you could see the top and it was gorgeous. Normally it was just white everywhere from sky to trees.
We made it to the top of the mountain and you could see everything for miles on miles. It was truly amazing.
This was one of the few days where you could see more than 10 feet in front of you on the top of the mountain.
Ellen flipping pancakes and succeeding.
Malena flipping pancakes and not completely succeeding, but was a great entertainer. :)
The girl heading to the grill.
There was a grill right next to the slope. It was like a little cove at the end of the slope and you could ski right into it. It was just a roof and a grill and places to sit. The hotdogs were danish style, so of course they were good.
We all met up the last day at McDonald's It had a ski-through. We got ice cream - don't know why, it was freezing out - and enjoyed the warmth of inside.
Final group picture. I don't have my ski clothes on because I went skiing in the afternoon and we met in the morning. I had walked over from the house to McDonald's to meet up. It was pleasant out when you weren't skiing down a mountain at 15 mph.
The trip was really great. I got tighter with my family and made new friends with the other family that came. It was a great way to spend winter break.
Looks like an awesome time. Glad you all had so much fun : )
